Dr. Ann Song is a board certified, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate in Psychiatric Nursing from the University of Washington. Ann is a long-term resident of Olympia and has been a nurse for over twenty years, with the last eight years in the K-12 school system. She chose to pursue Psychiatric Nursing to better meet the needs of individuals, families and the Olympia community.
Dr. Song believes in a holistic, trauma informed approach, understanding one’s health and health outcomes may be impacted by life experiences. She is licensed in the State of Washington and her primary duties at Cascade Counseling include psychiatric medication evaluations and ongoing outpatient medication management. She combines her empathetic nature and clinical experience, with evidence-based practices while working with clients to formulate an individualized treatment plan/medication recommendation. She is a warm, caring, and skilled practitioner who looks forward to working with clients to meet their mental health needs.
