Sara Guy, LMHCA
Sara Guy is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate located in Olympia, WA. She obtained her Master’s degree from Grand Canyon University in Arizona. She has lived in the Olympia area for the last four years and in Washington for the past 6 years along with her husband of 18 years, and three children. Sara enjoys counseling a wide range of populations including children, adolescents, adults and families. Sara focuses on co-parenting/divorce, trauma/abuse, depression, anxiety, grief and loss. She uses a variety of applications and methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to help her clients overcome their most challenging circumstances. When Sara is not working, she crafts, bakes and volunteers in her local community as well as at Sound Care Kids and Camp Erin, helping children process their losses. She has been attending grief and acute medical camps for youth for over a decade and enjoys every minute of it.
Areas of focus are anxiety, depression, grief and loss, children of divorcing parents, co-parenting, trauma/abuse, ADHD, and autism. Sara does not provide any couples therapy.
Sara works on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and a half day on Friday. She sees clients in person and over telehealth.
