Jeffrey D. Wagaman, Ph.D.

Dr. Jeffrey D. Wagaman has a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Washington State University. He has been trained to work with a diverse client population including adults, children, adolescents, families, couples, and groups. He works with a variety of client problems including, but not limited to, depression/bipolar and other mood disorders, anxiety issues, marital problems, post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD), sexual abuse, adolescent behavior problems, men’s issues, adult attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (AD/HD), anger difficulties, pre-marital counseling, addictions (including sexual) and psychotic disorders. He also provides diagnostic evaluations/testing for adult AD/HD. Dr. Jeff Wagaman has been in private practice in Olympia, Washington since 1994 and is the president and founder of Cascade Counseling. Dr. Wagaman has been licensed in the State of Washington since 1992.

In addition to private practice, Dr. Jeff Wagaman’s experience includes five years with the U.S. Army where he was Chief of Mental Health and Consultation Services, and Chief of Psychology Services. He also, for several years, was a counselor for troubled adolescents and a youth pastor.

Dr. Jeff Wagaman is an understanding, effective and sought after Psychologist. His therapeutic approach is tailored to meet the needs of each client, but tends towards cognitive-behavioral with Biblical and supportive (Rogerian) foundations. In addition to therapy, Dr. Jeff Wagaman is a well-known speaker on marriage, depression, anxiety, and other topics.

Dr. Wagaman works on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and sees clients in person or by telehealth.
