Yvonne Roberto, M.S., LMHCA

Yvonne is a licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate, her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Fayetteville State University in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University’s online program. Yvonne collaborates with individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges that affect mood, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. These include depression, anxiety, trauma, codependency issues, workplace stress, family conflict, and general stress.

Yvonne Roberto works confidently to support her clients—which include children (ages 13–18), adults, couples, and families—in strengthening and discovering healthy perceptions of themselves. Her goal is to help them become whole and emotionally healthy, both for their own well-being and for their interactions with others.

Yvonne’s counseling approach centers on building a strong therapist-client alliance. Her goal is to equip clients with the tools they need to navigate complicated feelings and situations. Recognizing that no single approach fits every individual, she uses a variety of client-centered, talk therapy techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which incorporates mindfulness practices such as focusing on thoughts and feelings in the moment without judgment. Yvonne also adopts a strengths-based approach, emphasizing her clients’ strengths, talents, and capabilities while addressing their most critical and personal challenges.

Yvonne is available for both in-person and telehealth sessions, offering flexible appointments Monday through Friday.
