William Stover, LMFTA
William has a Masters in the Science of Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University, and is licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapy Associate in the state of Washington. William specialised in work with teenagers, young adults, and families.
William has experience working with anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, trauma, PTSD, relational issues, family conflict, and life transitions. William uses a combined approach when working with clients, with his primary modality being Solution Focused Therapy while incorporating family systems approaches, narrative therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) into session to work collaboratively with clients to reach their goals.
William completed his internship with Sound Health, a community mental health clinic located throughout King County serving a diverse range of clients, working with Sound for a total of two and a half years. William worked in communities throughout the Puget Sound in clinics and schools, working with youth, adolescents, their families, as well as doing group work.
William is available for either in-person or telehealth sessions, offering flexible appointments Monday through Friday.
