I specialize in working with children and adolescents. My primary practice goal is to partner with children and their families and to provide personalized, evidence-based, and collaborative care. I approach recommendations from a holistic perspective and often discuss lifestyle modifications along with evaluation of appropriateness of medications. I use medications judiciously and strive to ensure that any medications prescribed effectively address symptoms while minimizing side effects. 

I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychoeducation. I have clinical experience in diagnosing and managing depression, anxiety, OCD, autism, and ADHD. I also provide autism evaluations for children seven years and younger. I am able to see patients in-person at my office located in Olympia, or virtually through a secure and confidential telehealth platform. Please note that I do not provide mediation management for conduct disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, or schizophrenia. I look forward to supporting your child on their journey towards better mental health. 

Avery works Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday and sees clients in person and over telehealth.
